This is a Japanese-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 12th Field Artillery Battalion. The DI is a red crest with a crowned fleur-de-lis.
VINTAGE:Circa post-Korean War era.
SIZE:1-3/16" height and 15/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.B.I. CO. JAPAN.
