Italian Infantry Officer Model 1934 Dress Uniform Bandolier

This is an Italian Army Model 1934 dress uniform bandolier worn by an infantry officer. The bandolier's straps are backed in velvet and bear wonderful plated brass medallions on front and back, one with chains. The pouch also has a velvet backing, and is edged in gilt brass and has an eagle in relief on its front.

Circa 1934.

Strap: approximately 42-1/2" in length (including fasteners) and 2-1/2" in width; buckle is about 3" in height; cartridge box: approximately 3-1/4" in height and 6-7/8" in length (including fasteners) and 1-1/4" in depth.

Strap: leather, gilt brass, woven wire front, velvet backing; cartridge box: leather, gilt brass, velvet.

Strap: two clips; lock, two rings on box.

6- (Fine): The bandolier has split in several places and in at least one is held together only by the backing. The pouch shows light to medium wear and tarnish.
