ARTIFACT: This is an interesting numbered aviation pin in the shape of a winged star that reads MEMBER US AIRCRAFT ARSENAL OF DEMOCRACY.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s.

SIZE: 5/8" height and 1-1/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with red, white and blue enameled details.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw pin with disc backing.

MARKINGS: 159 STERLING and W&H maker's mark on reverse of pin and STERLING on disc.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an aviation-related collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ZREL93 LEEX 6/10

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): Pin has lost a few small areas of the enamel and has an overall tarnish.
