Insignia and Dog Tags of Lt. C.L. De Vries of the Netherlands Marine Force

This is a collection of insignia and dog tags of Lt. C.L. De Vries of the Netherlands Marine Force.

Circa 1920's.

Dog tags: about 2" in width by 1-1/8" in height each; large insignia: about 1-1/2" in width by 1-1/8" in height each; small insignia: about 3/4" in width by 5/8" in height each; coin charm: about 1" in diameter by 2-15/16" in height; small badge: about 1-1/16" in width by 1-1/4" in height.

Dog tags: 2 are monel, 1 is stainless steel; large and small insignia are gold-plated brass; coin is brass; small badge is stamped brass.

Dog tags each have one hole for chain; large insignia each have a vertical pin with a "come-under" locking catch; small insignia each have a single stick pin with a stabilizer and a small stabilizing pin; coin has loop and chain; small badge has a single screw post with a stabilizer and a small stabilizer pin.

Reverse of coin has a small makers mark, otherwise everything else is unmarked.

7+ (Very Fine+): Overall, there is minor wear; one piece of the small insignia and the small badge are missing their stabilizing pins.
