ARTIFACT: Important Anti-War Peace Pin from the "March on the Mall" in Washington, D.C. on 4/24/1971 that saw over 200,000 attendees to protest the Vietnam War. The center of the celluloid pin reads: "OUT NOW" and displays a peace sign surrounded by orange detail in the center of the letter "O". The edge of the pin features a maker's mark partially obscured during the manufacture of the pin, unable to identify.

VINTAGE: Circa 1971

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/16" in diameter and pin 2-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, steel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical straight pin

MARKINGS: Obscured maker's mark on edge.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The pin shows moderate surface wear, small spots of discoloration, light oxidation on reverse, overall very fine condition.
