ARTIFACT:

This is an Imperial German Veterans badge from Fechingen. The badge is two crossed swords beneath an Imperial crown and suspended form it is a Knight's cross reading K.V. FECHINGEN 1889.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin with saddle and suspension loop.

MARKINGS:

PAUL KUST BERLIN GESETZLICH GESCHUTZT C 19.
