This is a circa World War II British 1st Anti-Aircraft Division "formation sign" shoulder patch. It has a tweedy wool background and shows an embroidered plane with an orange contrail below it.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3-3/8" in height and 2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads, muslin backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has some small spots of light wear along the edge.
