ARTIFACT: This is a Personal Identification USAF (United States Air Force) Patch from Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. It was used as a personnel identification patch, sewn on personal clothing & gear. It is embroidered in blue thread on white (no yellowed deeply) twill and reads RAFB 1621 (the number appears to have been added by hand with a sewing machine, and was probably unique to the original owner). At center is the AFB's Building 100, nicknamed the "Taj Mahal".

VINTAGE: Circa unknown.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester thread, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-DMB-25-13 LX11/13 SLHEX01/19

CONDITION: 7 -(Very Fine-): The patch shows some medium wear/soiling.
