ARTIFACT: This is a Iconic World War I French Aviation Stork Pin in Hallmarked Silver. There are numerous photographs of French-trained Japanese Army Pilots, who flew in combat for the French, wearing these exact pins as a sort of Squadron badge. 


Image of WWI Japanese Pilot is included as an image reference only, the actual photograph is NOT INCLUDED with this pin. 

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 2-11/16" in length x 3/8" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal T-style pin with open C catch.

MARKINGS: Nearly microscopic French silver marks is on exterior of the C catch.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The pin shows light wear and nicely tarnished beautiful patina, overall it is in excellent condition.
