Iconic WWI French Aviation Stork Pin in Silver as Worn by Japanese Pilots Flying for France

This is a Iconic World War I French Aviation Stork Pin in Hallmarked Silver. There are numerous photographs of French-trained Japanese Army Pilots, who flew in combat for the French, wearing these exact pins as a sort of Squadron badge. 

Circa World War I.

Approximately 2-11/16" in length x 3/8" in height.

Sterling silver.

Horizontal T-style pin with open C catch.

Nearly microscopic French silver marks is on exterior of the C catch.
