Iconic ca 1961 Flying Tiger Line 15 Year Service Pin in 10K Gold with Emerald by Balfour

This is an iconic and rare circa 1961 Flying Tiger Line 15 year service pin in 10K gold by Balfour. The service pin shows the airline's emblem, the nose of a stylized Flying Tiger aircraft with a small faceted emerald stone in its 'mouth'. Across the top it reads: "15 YEARS" in gold against red, enamel banner and along the bottom reads: "FLYING TIGER LINE". The reverse shows a nice maker's mark that reads: "LGB 10K"

Circa 1961.

Approximately 11/16" in width x 1/2" in height.

10K gold, enamel, green faceted stone.

Single post with screw back.
