Iconic 1950's Flying Tiger Line 10 Year Service Pin in 10K Gold w/ Sapphire by Balfour

Iconic 1950's Flying Tiger Line 10 year service pin in 10K gold by Balfour. The service pin shows the airline's emblem, the nose of a stylized Flying Tiger aircraft with a small faceted blue stone in 'its mouth'. Across the top it reads: "TEN YEARS" in gold against blue enamel and a red, enamel banner along the bottom reads: "FLYING TIGER LINE". The reverse shows a nice maker's mark and reads: "10K"

Circa 1950's.

Approximately 11/16" in height x 1/2" in width.

Enameled 10K gold.
