This is a United States Marine Corps "trench art" bracelet made during service in New Caledonia, a Pacific French colony. The bracelet was fashioned from aluminum from a Japanese Zero aircraft, and has a fantastic design complete with an etched eagle, globe and anchor and palm trees.
VINTAGE:World War II.
SIZE:1-3/4" high and 2-9/16" wide and 2-3/8" deep.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Aluminum from Japanese Zero.
ATTACHMENT:Bracelet opening.
