Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a huge and early (circa 1962-1963) United States Air Force 1st Air Commando Group North American T-28 Trojan patch. This patch was worn by early advisors to the RVNAF (Republic of Vietnam Air Force). It was beautifully handmade in-country, showing embroidered T-28s and a rocker at the bottom that reads HAVE DONE.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1962-1963.

SIZE:

Approximately 5-3/4" in height and 3-5/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Cotton embroidered in silk/cotton thread.
