Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II "V for Victory" tie bar showing a wreathed V at center with the Morse Code symbols for the word "victory" above.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 5/8" in height and 2-7/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with painted areas.

ATTACHMENT:

Tie bar.

MARKINGS:

HICKOK U⋅S⋅A.

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): Bar has spots of light wear where a bit of the paint has worn off and light tarnish.
