ARTIFACT:

This is a "V for Victory Ð Aid Democracy" celluloid pin from World War II. The V has the Morse code symbols for the word "victory" (three dots and a dash) on either side of it.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 7/8" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Celluloid-wrapped tin, brass pin.

ATTACHMENT:

Straight pin.

MARKINGS:

MADE IN U.S.A. along bottom edge.
