SUBJECT: This is a great celluloid World War II North American Aviation (NAA) Employee Protection Corps/Civil Defense air raid warden badge. NAA began manufacturing aircraft in 1928, and is credited with several important models such as the F-86 Sabre jet, the B-25 Mitchell bomber and the P-51 Mustang fighter.
VINTAGE: Circa World War II.
SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2 in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Celluloid-wrapped tin, brass.
ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin.
