ARTIFACT:

This is a great World War II flight instructor wing made by Miller, probably for a civilian contract school in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. The wing has a beautiful blue and white star medallion at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 13/16" height and 2-9/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated sterling silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

ITEM NOTES:

The wing you receive will either be the one pictured or one in similar condition, but slightly different markings on reverse. This is from a civilian aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VGEX10 LEDEX1/11

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows some light wear and small areas of tarnishing and all enamel is intact.
