ARTIFACT: This is a great World War I worker badge for the International Arms & Fuze Co. (Shell Division). The badge is numbered 49860 and is in the shape of an artillery shell. Located in Bloomfield, New Jersey, the company was founded in 1915. Live ammunition was transported to Europe for use in World War I.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: 49860 on front.
