ARTIFACT: Great vintage 1960’s Beverly Hilton room key and fob for room 657. The fob shows a stylized star burst-like raised detail on the front and the reverse reads: “BEVERLY HILLS/CALIFORNIA”, “THE BEVERLY HILTON”, “PLEASE DROP IN ANY MAILBOX RETURN POSTAGE GUARANTEED” in embossed lettering. The key is engraved with the number: “657”

VINTAGE: Circa 1960’s

SIZE: Approximately 4-3/4” (total); Key: 2-1/8” x 1”; Fob: 1-7/8” x 1-7/8”

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Gilt brass, steel

ATTACHMENT: Steel eye-hook

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an advertising collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEX16 LAAEX6/16

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The key and fob show moderate wear, the steel eye-hook shows heavy oxidation, much of the plated details remain intact.
