ARTIFACT: This is a great, salty, World War I-1920's US Navy CPO (Chief Petty Officer) Off-Duty Uniform Belt Buckle. It has a quality, refined construction of gilt brass. 

It's a fairly simple buckle, with the CPO rope and anchor insignia in the center of it.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI - 1920's.

SIZE: Approximately: 2-1/4" in length x 2" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: To be worn with a belt.

MARKINGS: "USN"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEM17 LAGEX8/17 SAEEX01/21

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Salty look, has some tarnish, but it doesn't detract from the look.
