This is a great circa 1900 "Old West" Douglas County, Colorado deputy sheriff 5-point star badge. The badge has a Denver maker mark on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:About 1-7/8" height and 1-7/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with black painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:KAUFFMAN MAKER DENVER.
