ARTIFACT: This is a great old Wade China advertising pourer for Beefeater Gin. The term beefeater applies to the guards of the Tower of London and may have been derived from the payment given the guards: different forms of meat. The pourer is shaped as the bust of one such Beefeater, who has a hole in the front of his hat which lines up with the plastic tube at bottom.
VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.
SIZE: Approximately 4-7/8 in height and 1-5/8 in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Painted china with cork and plastic.

MARKINGS: WADE REGICOR MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN.
