This is a great old police "come along" in nickel-plated cast iron. The patent for this come along is August 10, 1869, and it is stamped with a serial number (1898).
VINTAGE:Circa 1870s.
SIZE:Approximately 4-1/2" in length and 3-7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated cast iron.
ATTACHMENT:Bracket.
MARKINGS:1898 (serial number).
