Description
This is a great named United States Marine Corps aviation hat. The hat has a gold and red braided band above the visor, a gold- and silver-plated eagle, globe and anchor at front center and an embroidered quatrefoil on top. Inside is a manufacturer's tag as well as a tag with the owner's name and air station location.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:No tag: approximate size 7-1/2.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Muslin, punched leather, patent leather, embroidery tape, embroidered braid, silk ribbon, elastic band, brass, plated brass, paper, cellophane.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Hat shows light overall wear with small spots of slight discoloration on top and some light cracking on the visor.
