ARTIFACT: This is a Great Late 1930's Johnson County Texas Sheriff's Posse Captain Badge by Cartan Ft Worth.

VINTAGE: Late 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately: 2-1/2" in height x 1-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-Plated with Gold wash, black paint in lettering.

ATTACHMENT: One-plate Vertical pin with drop-in locking catch.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBAAV21 LABGEX11/14/24

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge shows light gold plating mostly worn off. It Makes sense that a captain's badge would have been gold colored at one time. Overall, it is in excellent condition as a late 1930s.
