ARTIFACT:
This is a circa early World War II shoulder patch for the United States Marine Corps 1st Marine Division. The patch is Australian-made done in a Bevo weave on cotton/silk. The patch is diamond-shaped and features five stars surrounding a red number 1 that reads: "GUADALCANAL" in white detail.
