This is a great enameled chairman's badge for the Illinois Aeronautics Commission from the Golden Age of Aviation. The badge resembles a sheriff's badge and shows the Illinois state seal at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 2-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enameled areas.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
