This is a Great Early 1930's Contra Costa County California Deputy Sheriff Star Size Badge Smaller Size by California Stamp. 

Early 1930s.

Approximately 2-1/4" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

Vertical pin with tang-style 'C' catch.
