ARTIFACT: This is a Great circa 1942 Las Vegas Nevada Police Captain Badge & 1942 & 1943 Photo ID's. 

VINTAGE: Circa 1942.

SIZE: Approximately: Badge 2-1/2" in height x 1-15/16" in width. Photo ID 2-3/16" in hight x 3-3/4" in width / 2-9/16" in height x 3-15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Badge: Gilt Brass with hard fired blue enamel. ID: Plastic, photos, index print, ink, papar.

ATTACHMENT: Badge: Vertical pin with drop-in locking catch. Single screw post with disk backing. Name Plate: Tow pins with crutch backings. Patch: Two pins with crutch backings.


ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJJV21 LAFIEX06/06/24

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, and enamels partially chip-off on "O" & "L", from bottom panel "POLICE". One of the ID plastics shows the damage (Image 9, 10, 11). Overall, it is duty worn great patina and it is from the Don Wallis collection.
