ARTIFACT: Great circa 1910's ??? 1920's New England Telephone & Telegraph Company numbered employee badge in enameled, nickel-plated brass. The round badge features a blue enameled bell in the center that reads "BELL SYSTEM" and surrounding it reads: "NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE & TELEGRAPH CO." the center of the badge is numbered: "707"

VINTAGE: Circa 1910's ??? 1920's

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled, nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK, NJ"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a communications collection which we will be releasing over the next few months. MEJX15 LBHEX1/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Badge shows moderate wear mostly to high points, much of the enamel and plating details remain intact.
