This is a Great Ca 1900's-1910's Alameda County California Deputy Sheriff Badge by California Novelty. This is a large Size Badge than usually seen. The Art Nouveau Lettering of DEPUTY SHERIFF really set it apart from the  usual AL.Co Badges. Exact Badge from Jim Casey's Book.

Circa 1900s - 1910s.

Approximately 2-3/4" in height x 1-7/8" in width.

Nickel plated nickel with painted letter.

Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch.
