This is a great Old West circa 1900 "stock" City Marshal six-point star badge.
This badge was made by C.D. Reese of New York and has a small horizontal six point star at its center.
The badge has a great "been there" look, and some heavy patination, making it seem possible that the badge could have spent some time underground.
If only this one could talk!
