This is a great USS Memphis SSN-691 patch bearing the logo "In Defense of Human Freedom - May She Ever Prowl The Sea". The Memphis was launched at Newport News, Virginia on April 3, 197Five years later the Memphis circumnavigated the globe via the Panama Canal. She was decommissioned on April 1, 2011.
VINTAGE:Circa 1980s.
SIZE:About 4-1/8" in width by 4-1/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered with cotton embroidery thread.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
