ARTIFACT: This is a Great 1961's United State Army Air Force 314th Air Division Oson Air Base Korea Lighter By Uulcar Japan. 

The 314th Air Division is an inactive United States Air Force unit. Its last assignment was with Pacific Air Forces at Osan Air Base, South Korea. It became inactive in September 1986.

The unit's origins lie with the World War II 314th Bombardment Wing, which was part of the Twentieth Air Force of the United States Army Air Forces. The 314th engaged in bombing operations against Japan using Boeing B-29 Superfortresses.

VINTAGE: Circa 1961's

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" x 1-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted, brushed, chrome-plated brass, cotton wick, steel

ATTACHMENT: Hinged lid

MARKINGS: UULCAR P.O.BOX. B252 S.F.CALIF JAPAN

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJX18 LACEX07/09/19

CONDITION: 7+ (Fine+ ): The lighter shows moderate wear, but overall  fine condition. No wick inside, need to replace.
