ARTIFACT: Great 1940's Keyston Bros. horse head trophy belt buckle. The center of the buckle features a gold-filled horse head outlined by a diamond-shaped, rope embellishment. Each of the four corners of the buckle feature a high relief, scarce maple leaf design surrounded by lovely stamped and engraved detail. The reverse shows a maker's mark that reads: "KEYSTON BROS. S.F. CALIF. STERLING 1/10 (?) K"

VINTAGE: Circa 1940's

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/2" x 2-1/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Engraved, stamped, sterling, gold-fill, copper

ATTACHMENT: Bar and hinged prong

MARKINGS: "KEYSTON BROS. S.F. CALIF. STERLING 1/10 (?)K", "PAT APPL'D FOR"

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The buckle shows minor to moderate wear, some of the gold fill details remains intact, overall very fine condition.
