This is a Great 1940 Santa Monica California Police Detective Lieutenant Badge #502 by Los Angeles Stamp & Stationery.

Approximately 2-7/16" in height x 1-13/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with hard-fired enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch.
