ARTIFACT:

This is a great late 1930s Washoe County, Nevada deputy sheriff badge. The badge is a six-pointed star and shows the Nevada State Seal at center. The badge reads DEPUTY SHERIFF WASHOE COUNTY NEV. The badge was made by the Los Angeles Stamp & Stationery Company

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1930's.

SIZE:

2-9/16" height and 2-1/4" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with blue enameled lettering.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.
