ARTIFACT:

What we have here is a great, circa 1930's, "Stock" Deputy Sheriff 5 point Sar Badge that reads DEPUTY SHERIFF.

The badge is in the style of older Deputy Sheriff badges form the Old West, and it is quite possible that this badge was made for Hollywood to be worn in one of the Western Movies being made back in the 1930's. 

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930's.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-9/16" height x 2-11/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel plated nickel with black painted details.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical one piece pin with open catch and maker marked skeleton saddle. .
