Description
Great, very rare 1930's New York Alcoholic Beverage Control/New York Liquor Authority Bureau of Investigation official vehicle 'tag' and handmade leather credentials holder. The plate shows the State Seal of New York in the center and reads: "N.Y. STATE PLATE NO. 333 WP #34 APPROVED FOR OFFICIAL USE DEPUTY "COMMISSIONER" and shows a handwritten signature in ink. The bottom of the 'tag' reads: "LIQUOR AUTHORITY BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION". The leather credential holder also features the State Seal of New York in the center and reads: "STATE OF NEW YORK EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT LOCAL A. B. C. BOARD DIVISION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL" and features a nicely leather braided edge and inside slots for credentials.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The paper tag shows moderate to heavy use and age wear, some small tears along the edges that do not detract, the leather holder shows moderate wear, leather is supple, overall very fine condition.
