ARTIFACT: This is a great circa 1930s advertising fan for Kool brand cigarettes featuring Willie the Kool Penguin. The fan also promotes the Tommy Dorsey Radio show. Tommy and his famous brother Jimmy had a band together but in 1935 Tommy went solo. The reverse of the fan shows premiums obtained by redeeming Kool coupons.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 15-1/2" in height (including stake) and 7-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag, wood stake.

ATTACHMENT: Fan stapled to stake.

MARKINGS: Allied Printing Louisville mark on reverse.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The fan has some small spots of light wear/discoloration.
