Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a great circa 1930s Curtiss-Wright aircraft factory worker uniform patch. Curtiss-Wright began in 1929 when Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor Company of Buffalo, New York, and Wright Aeronautical of Dayton, Ohio merged. The patch is in yellow twill embroidered in blue thread.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately: 1-7/8" in height and 4-7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Twill embroidered in cotton thread, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn on.
