ARTIFACT: This is a Great 1927 Lindbergh New York to Paris Enameled Pin Brooch. It reads around the perimeter: NEW YORK TO PARIS IN 33 HOURS MAY 21 1927


On May 21, 1927, Charles A. Lindbergh completed the first solo, nonstop transatlantic flight in history, flying his Spirit of St. Louis from Long Island, New York, to Paris, France.

VINTAGE: Circa 1927.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled silvered Bronze.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with safety-style enclosed stationary catch.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Light wear, silvering mostly missing on obverse, probably from polishing. Does not detract.
