Description
Great circa 1920's Sonoma County, California Prohibition era Deputy Sheriff badge by Edward Jones & Co. The reverse shows that the badge once belonged to Elmer Douglas Bills and was worn by him from 1919 1926, and he became Sheriff in 192The shield shaped badge reads: "DEPUTY SHERIFF SONOMA CO." in black detailed lettering. This nickel badge appears to have been chromed during the period of use.
