ARTIFACT:
Great 1920's ??? 1930's Wakayama Prefecture dog lover's association bronze award medal. The oval medal features a dog's head in wonderful raised detail in the center, the outer edge of the medal shows a wreath of laurel leaves joined together at the bottom in a bow. The top center features Japanese kanji, as does the reverse.

Approximately 1-5/8" x 1"
