Great circa 1910’s De Laval Cream Separator advertising watch fob. The oval fob features a woman operating the cream separator in multi-colored enameled detail and above her it reads: “DE LAVAL” in raised lettering. The reverse reads: “DE LAVAL CREAM SEPARATORS WORLD’S STANDARD 1,500,000 IN DAILY USE”. The fob is still on its original leather strap which features a steel buckle closure.
Approximately Fob: 1-7/8” x 1-1/4”; Full length: 5-1/4”
Enameled, gilt brass, leather, steel
Leather strap with steel buckle
Maker’s stamp is illegible, located along reverse bottom of fob
This is from an advertising collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJX16 LACEX3/16
7- (Very Fine-): The watch fob shows moderate to heavy wear, the reverse shows a small amount of verdigris, the original strap is soft and the steel buckle shows moderate oxidation, much of enamel details remain intact.
As with all my items, this piece is guaranteed original.
