ARTIFACT:

This is a great circa 1910s or 1920s employee badge for Rexall, a Boston, Massachusetts-based chain of independently owned drugstores that began in 190The company's motto reflects just how prolific the chain eventually became: THE BEST DRUG STORES EVERYWHERE. This is a two-piece badge by Bastian Brothers of Rochester, New York.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1910s-1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/8" in width and 2-5/16" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Celluloid, cardboard.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal safety-style pin.
