ARTIFACT: Great circa 1900 St. Louis County, Minnesota Deputy Sheriff 6-point star badge. The badge is wonderfully hand-stamped in nickel and reads "DEPUTY" along the top, "SHERIFF" in the center, and "ST. LOUIS CO." beneath.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" x 2-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel, black paint

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin with saddle

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows moderate wear mostly to reverse, some of the black painted details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
