This is an old pre-Prohibition Bass & Co. Ale "Star Label" advertising match holder from the 1880s. The holder was made by George F. Hewett of 112-114 Pearl Street, Boston, Massachusetts.
VINTAGE:Circa 1880s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/16" height and 1-7/8" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass.
