ARTIFACT:

This is a Gorgeous Old 1880's Large Harvard University Seal Brooch in enameled Sterling Silver.

VINTAGE:

1880s.

SIZE:

Approximately: 1-3/4" in height x 1-13/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Enameled Sterling Silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal T-style pin with 'C' catch.

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): The brooch shows moderate wear, but the enameled center seal remains intact. Overall, it is in very fine condition. 

The left side on the bottom image shows a black but it is very light tarnish that it does not distract. The true color is slightly darker than the rest of the silver surface.
