This is a gorgeous Chinese-made United States Marine Corps III Amphibious Corps shoulder patch. The patch is crest-shaped and shows a Chinese dragon and the Roman numeral III. The III Amphibious Corps was originally the I Amphibious Corps, but was redesignated in 1944.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:3-1/2" height and 3" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Red satin patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton threads with muslin backing.
